CanACC Excellence Awards
The purpose of CanACC Excellence Awards is to recognize and honour outstanding Canadians and non-Canadians who have made significant contributions to their communities worldwide. The outstanding voluntary or professional achievement may have occurred in any field of endeavour. Each year, four nominees of individuals, companies or organizations are selected to receive these prestigious awards.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
Any individual or organization may qualify for any of CanACC Excellence Awards, the nominee must have an outstanding achievement in one or more of the following categories:
- Community Excellence
- Academic Excellence
- Business Excellence
HOW ARE THE AWARD RECIPIENTS SELECTED?
The award recipients are selected by CanACC Volunteer Advisory Committee comprised of Canadian and non-Canadian business and professional elite. The committee reviews the submissions, researches nominees’ work and history of contributions and then selects the four recipients from the nominations received. Nominations may be made by any of CanACC registered members or organizations wishing to recognize outstanding contributors.
WHEN ARE THE AWARDS PRESENTED?
The awards are presented at the annual CanACC Excellence Awards Dinner & Gala. The four recipients and
their nominators will be notified by telephone and email prior to the confirmed date of the award ceremony.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS?
Nomination forms may be submitted at any time. The deadline is August 30th of each year. All nominations received after this date will be considered for the following year.
Self-nominations will not be accepted.
